Sorry you have not been around these type of Hounds but select individuals around the country have Bred and Hunted this type, and they were Full Hound, no Hot Sauce spilled. If you will just give Mr. Dan his due and either go Hunt with Him or come see us not only will the piece of the Pie get larger it will Darn sure Taste Better!

Beleive me, I am wracking my brain to try and figure out how to get it done. My company is looking for reasons to fire people as are many companies right now. And I rarely get to see my family, but Yes, I am trying to figure out a way to make it happen. The problem is making it happen before one of us dies. It is Dan I am most worried about.

I am taking two weeks to get my kids out to see my parents again. They are not doing so good. Had to fight tooth and nail to get that much time. Who knows, I might not have a job when I get back. I would hate that, but then I would know how to get away for a bit befor reality hits again.

I wish I had met your family 30 years ago. I might still have some hair left on my head.

Mr. David,

No Worries we are all Bald Headed here. With some it is genetic, others self induced insanity, still others lack of hair on top due to "Bobcatitis"!

Take care of your family and come when you can till then we will try to keep the stories coming so you can be with us in spirit!

Thursday I took Dad to MS. to meet Mr. Harold Parker, a fine Houndsman and one of the few who have Clay Hounds. Mr. Harold is taking Dad to FL. with him to try out some new Clubs. They took 4 of Dads Hounds along to try and get Mr. Harold some Rig Hounds working. FL. is having lots of rain so they should have good hunting!

There have been some very good websites posted along with some great books on Hounds and Bobcat hunting. With the computer and Fed-Ex you can almost hear the Hounds duck and dodge the ole Shorttail right in your living room.

Good Running to All!

It is funny, I was just doing some walking and thinking about bobcat hunting. Because that is what I do. I am a habitual bobcat thinker. ha ha. I cant hunt em now except in my mind. Then it hit me that is the same as all the football crazy fans, or Nascar crazy folks. They dont throw the football or drive the cars but they are absolutely crazy bonkers over the sport. Whoever thought bobcat hunting could become a spectator sport. And far beyond that, whoever thought I would be the spectator and not the player?

Thanks to you Mr Clay and Hipshooter and others who are driving the Nascars all summer and laying out the footage here for us who love to watch. I think greater numbers of people are learning to appreciate the fine art of bobcat hunting and enjoy hearing about it, even when we cant do it. Thanks to the great internet and those willing to share their knowledge and stories on it, I am being joined by other great bobcat thinkers!! ha ha. Welcome to the party everyone! We are waiting at the screen for the next play. And the whistle blows. PLAY BALL!
