No kidding, my 5yr old bluetick got into a porcupine the other night, 4 nights or so after I shot a coon out from her and acted like it wasnt hurt, all 3 of my dogs killed it on the ground. Free casted her the other night and she ended up biting a porcupine and getting about 15 quills in her mouth, 8-10 on her nose, 7 or so on her ears, bunch in her cheeks, 5-8 into/through her right leg, and about the same amount in the other leg, wasnt good to say the lease. Seems like training is always going on, its always fun though, another learning experience I suppose. Those walkers are doing damn good! Keep up posted on some more progress if you got any videos/pictures of them.

this pic was from the first encounter we had. my buddies walker must have jumped on the damn think cause we pulled over 150 quills from all over his body and face.i think its inevitable to run into porkys. fortunatly my female had enough after the first time. check this video out where she decided to leave the porky and stuck to the wood. one of my favorite tree videos.

right at about 31 seconds of the video you can see her check out that needle back to see if he was comin for her lol.

Yeah its not a fun experience at all. Going out again tonight, she is still kind of sore, think infection set in, got her on antibiotics but she is ready to go, walking on her leg better, damn things went all the way through and some were sticking out the other side or her leg. I usually never bait set but I had 2 fish that no one was going to eat and I work for Fish and Wildlife so I decided to test it out to see what will happen tonight and see if one will hit the bait.
