Brown bear hunting in europe link wanted.
Brown bear hunting in europe link wanted.
I seen a link to some footage of brown bear hunting with dogs in finland or sweeden on here a while back, and I have lost the link in my computer. I tried finding it on here again but am getting bug eyed looking. So if someone could post it that would be cool, it is good footage, one has the dog cam on a plott. Thanks

If the Swedish get challenging, you could try these:

- Not trying to overrun you Kirpa, I've just had some people e-mailing me because of truble finding them, when I've posted links earlier...

Thats ok hans.
It was only link i could remember so i posted it to get this going.
Finnish hunting video site is www.videoita.fi
It's more challencing because it's all finnish
.
There are all categoriced by game.
here is little finnish lesson.
karhuvideot= bear videos
ilvesvideot= Lynx videos
kettuvideot= fox videos
supikoiravideot= raccoondog videos
There is also videos of one invention about machine bear. Those inventors have found their eldorado because there are always some dumb bear hunters who want to test their hounds before hunting season
.
and so on...
If you got some questions please feel free to ask more.

Thanks Kirpa!
Lots of entertainment on that site. Was a bit surpriced of all the black bear videos, but there was some really neat spitzdog - brownbear action too.
Language education is greatly appriciated. Going through Finnish spitzdog breeders homepages is challenging, or at least very timeconsuming....

Well, I've got them both and a Lynxhunting movie they've made. Cant tell if you're going to get fed up by the Swedish, its understandable by a Norwegian, but there are english side comments on the first one(Spoken Swedish and another guy explaining and saying pretty much the same in English, works good in my opinion, but you loose the swearing though...) and in their second movie I think there is even more languages, could be French and German or something.
Could be that someone on the forum ordered them, I've posted the info earlier.

Re: Brown bear hunting in europe link wanted.
I have bought swedish bear hunting movie 2. My swedish is so bad that i watch english spoken version.
It's true that finnish spitz dog breeders don't have english sites. True working dog breeders don't have websites or understand a word from english. I think it's the same situation all over the world
.
Black bear hunting videos have filmed on some hunting trips in USA. Common opinion in finland is that those bear shot when they are eating are not real hunting. Only real hunting is a man with one or two dogs.
