Another Good Day

It came a late shower around 1 o'clock this morning. It lasted until about 3. We figured we would have a hard time finding a track this morning. We found were one had crossed the road but the young dogs really didn't want to fool with it. It appeared to have been rained out. So we went lookingfor another. We got a good stike of the box and put down a couple of dogs. Sky and Jeb left at a pretty good pace. We drove down the road to put in the rest of them and Ring had pulled up treed. We found were it had crossed and put in the others. We went down to Ring and he had treed a cub from this year. We had a hard time catchng up with the others, but when we did they were treed. They had a nice boar that weighed around 175pds. He was coming out as I was taking his pic.

Any day you get to go out and tree a bear is a good day for sure.

Hit a slump for a couple of days, lost dogs so didn't get to hunt. This morning we got lucky again! Enjoy.

No not yet, she just four months old. I would like to have her treeing before I do. I guess you see Belle and scout, our two camerons. Wished I would have gotten better pics but the lighting was not very good.

Heath, dont know alot about bear but on cats the more your pup is exposed to the every day hunt the quicked they start to really click. I think you will be amazed on how well she will do at 4 months if given the exposure jmo. later Andy

Andy, I will start taking her along with me. I have been battling myself about whether to hunt her just on cats or on both. So I have been delaying more than anything!

Sure i don't go and you guys tree one.Last sunday my dog did a nice job.Started her first bear track .They had a nice little run treed down by the swamp.when we walked in she also was treeing pretty good.Better late then never i guess.Can't wait for this week end.Do you have any advice for me this week end with her.If so please let me know .Thanks!
