Looks like Utah is a spot overlooked by many guys moving to new states. Looks like you guys got it good in your honey hole.

Nice pictures. Rare to see a bear climb an aspen. How is that pup doing? I am wishing I would have gotten the other one. I had one killed by a bear the end of training season and one run over on the road.

Bad Luck and mean bears.....

BGH,
Its a good pup, I like him so far. He is trailing a coon by himself, at 4 months old. Good looking, good pup.
Sounds like you had a rough end to the season. Sorry to hear about your pups. I heard you had a couple lost on East, are them the dogs, or did you find them?
Did you get the bear up Bruin on Friday?

Thanks IKE. Yeah had a rough go losing dogs the last few years. Luckily I had a litter on the ground from the little female that got eaten this last time. 6 pups and they are pretty good lookers. Should be some bear catchin pot lickers but we will see...you know how that goes on a first (and unfortunatly last) cross. I do have a littermate to the one who got killed so if this cross works out I may do it again with the other littermate.

Hope you had a nice summer and getting ready for the fall.

KK, no bear on Bruin. I only had two dogs in walking the bear all day. Couldn't get any of the others to them. After about 7 hours with no help and temps getting in the 90's they had enough.

As for 20 people.... we are fast getting there. I don't remember ever seeing so many people. I like to hunt by myself but that is getting to be harder and harder.
