Full Cry?

So pretty much im just getting into hounds, been told that full cry is "America's leader in treedog publications" I enjoy reading the occasional informative article. But the 6 or so issues i've got seem to be all bench show pictures, squirrel hunts, and a page full of people a guy knows. wtf. Any alternatives, maybe more big game oriented?I find myself grabbing for the NiteLite catalog over Full Cry when they both came in the mail today. Sorry for ranting.

This site is better than a magazine. If you find something interesting or need more info all you have to do is ask. Anytime you read an article your always left with questions, at least here you can ask them. You have to sift through a little bs once in while though. That's half the fun. My opinion.

Ultimate Predator magazine. Go back to the Big Game Hunting With Dogs section and at the top of the page under a sticky is a thread about it.

i also resently subscribed to full cry. what a disappoitment that has been. for one it frickin black and white. the articles are terrible for the most part. im from the west and dont give a s##t about squirels. i mean seriously how good does a dog have to be to tree a stupid squirel. this site is 100% better than full cry. worst $29.50 i ever spent. glad i didnt get the 2 year subscription. not even any good hunting pics. poor bastards on the other side of the country need to come west and see what real hunting is.

yea that's all for sure, definitely love this site always learn a lot. I'll be sure and check out ultimate predator.
