GPS System - What do you use?

Post by Redwood Coonhounds »

I'm looking into buying a GPS handheld. I was wondering what everyone else used and recommended.

Here in CA we cannot use GPS tracking on dogs. A Garmin Astro would be illegal. Out of the question.

So I need just a regular handheld. Going to hunt some new terrain this year.

Not really looking for something fancy in the way of "telling me directions" - just show me where I'm at, accurate, and in detail.

Garmin 220, cheap and you can use them as a two way system, which gives you the coordinance of others every time you communicate. Works good for me...

I may have an extra i will sell you, if interested. I know i have some extra Garmin 120's
