Just seeing who you use and why.

Thanks, Tom.

NONE!!!!! :(

I have a Vet out in my area ( banks ) that I use. He is a all animal vet, Mostly Stock vet . He does a nice job and understands that these are working dogs and they DO NOT need a $250 dental every time they go in.

I Will NOT use Dove Lewis they are a BIG Humane Society supporter. :? :?

If I absolutely have an emergency and I need a 24 hr vet I will go to Tualatin Emergency but be prepared to pay $500 to walk in the door..

There is a vet that my husband like but I do not know his name. He is in the Beaverton area.

For the most part I think Vets are WAY over priced ( I know I went to Vet School).
$$$$$$$

For the most part a person can learn to do most vet work on there own..

Thanks Nora,
I know what you mean about the money issue. Seems like most vets in the area (in PDX) see dollar signs when you walk in. Long story short, my wifes MinPin broke it's leg (front) and cost us over $2k, then broke it's leg again in the same spot one year later!! I felt it should have been amputated but the vet we used wanted another $2k for that. Not having the money, we had to give him to a rescue agency.

But anyways, I gave my hound her booster shot but now she needs her rabies, and the vet wanted like $60?!?! So, I'm " vet shopping" now. I've heard good things about Midway Vet over by Scapoose, but am looking for other suggestions.

I'm in beaverton but drive all over.

When I got belle from the pound she came with a credit for shots, so I took her to banfield; but I think things are gonna change ;)
