Heck, I guess I'm the high bidder $100.00!!
Seriously though, you might want to ask hunters in your area. If your dog is a do it all on bear, I don't see why you couldn't get $1,000 - $5,000. Just depends. My dad always told me, something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. In this economy you might want to hold onto the dog, develop him more then when money is not as tight as it is for most folks you can sell him for more than you could now since it will have more experience and make the potential buyer more confident in the dogs abilities. Just my opinion, oh and my bid stands.

I would just ask myself, what would i feal comfortable letting this dog go for?
Put a price on the dog and see if anyone bites. The worst thing that can happen is you have to keep feeding him. If someone want to buy him for what you are asking and can't believe you would ever sale a dog like that, then you both are happy.
The thing is, so many people like different things about dogs one might love him and want to give you $5000.00 and the other guy might think he's only worth 1,500.00. But I think everyone likes to catch game. So put a price on him and see what happens. Best of luck.
Take care, poser

I really only have one reason to sell him and thats cause i'm a plottman and would like to have another brindle dog with the same description! The dog doesn't help my breeding program!
What about your signature?
