We have been hunting a couple days a week. Not getting many pictures. The bear seem to be bailing out as soon as we get there. We did finally get one to stay Friday. The bear are not moving very well. I guess they found them something good to eat.
Seems to me that some of them have slowed down a little now that they got their winter weight on. Got all that fat, but who knows we have too many bears here.
We been keeping a few in the trees long enough to get there. That lone walker dog is a good looking son of a gun.... and l'm not a fan of walkers either.
I like the looks of that blonde colored dog in the background of the first pic what kind is it? How is the bear hunting out there usually? Thats my home state but I havent been back there in many years but might be heading up there this winter for a visit to my grandparents.
Bticked, She is a buckskin plott. She came from Gene White. I went out to pick her up for a friend of mine and fell in love with her. So he finally gave in and let me have her. She turned five months old on that day so I walked her into the tree. Between her and the Topper pup I have my hands full! Hunting here is pretty good must of the time. It seems like the bear aren't traveling as good for some reason.
