Post by jasonrm »

Hi guy's, my name is Jason I am in central OK.I have been reading your post for some time ,and I think the only way to learn more about cat hounds is by owning a good pack(witch I do not )I have really enjoyed every thing you have written.I am in the middle of a beagle breeding program I can not back out of.That being said I do plan too build a pack of cat hounds in the future and would love any tips or invites to run.Thank you for the great info, please keep it coming.

A man is not very smart that can,t find his wife 2 jobs.
And any wife should be able to support her man and a pack of hounds.

Never shock your dog off bad game
untill he knows what good game is.

Jasonrm,

Where in Central OK do you live.

Marion Graham is around the Sweetwater area and is a great fellow who has a nice pack of Cat Hounds. The only way to learn to Cat Hunt is to Cat Hunt!

There are several good Cat Hunters in Southern OK, a couple have Clay Hounds.

The CRP Ag program has helped all wildlife, but the CAt population has boomed.

Another good resource here is DerekE, PM him and invite him up to hunt with you. He will help you with hound acquasitions as well as giving you a hand with basic Cat Hunting lore!
