Good photos!
Very descriptive look from the sub adult lion. Please note: very prounounced eye color and black spots above they eyes as well as kitten spots showing thru the roufous color patterns.
These usuaully begin to fade to a greater degree at 8-10 months although some subs retain rather prounced black markings at ages well over a year. Note the inside of the back and front legs will often show kitten spotting long after the rest have faded.
