young pup
Ike how is your pup out of the cross you made doing? My Pantera pup has been on three bears now{in the past ten days} and is starting to tree a little. The second bear she was on urinated and crapped everywhere in the tree. boy did that set her off! Tons of smell and all the excitement of the other dogs it was good for her. I lost my best lion dog to pnemonia last week I hope she picks it up early and throws her two scents in this winter. good luck and i will keep you posted. MAC

Re: young pup
Thanks MAC, and it sounds like you're getting that young pup out on game and that's great. I've had a couple other reports that some of the other pups are doing well, but I haven't done alot with mine yet. One young tough hunter called me a couple weeks back and went on and on about the pup he got, so time will tell I guess.
Truth is my son took both of the pups and I haven't had much chance! He's been taking them to the field with him working them on obedience training and stuff, and I guess the hunting will come next month, as elk and deer seasons about shut me down. My son says they always have their noses down and trailing something, so we'll get them in on some lions and bobcats soon. He told me he wanted to do some hunting this winter, so if he stays focused those pups are gonna get to follow mine around alot.
God luck and stay in touch,
ike
