so this may be wierd, but I was just thinkin the other day, being a newcomer and all and never killing a cat yet. What do you do when you kill them, I mean do you clean it like a deer, or do you just skin it and cut the meat off. I guess I just wanted to know for when I am actually in that position. thanks.

first question Josh is if you were mounting it would be how? Lifesize would require skinning it down the back. Rug you would skin it down the belly. If you plan to cut up the meat gut it and bring it out whole
You could bone it but they are not that big down there that you could not pack it out on your back.

well that is different, I havent heard of skinning them down the back. But I kinda figured if I was gonna get a mount it was going to be like the typical bear shoulder mount, I havent seen a lion like that so I figured it would be cool. But what if you want to keep the meat and get a full mount? would cleaning him out really mess anything up in that area?. tahnks.
