Icom 2meter mics

Ive been having trouble with my mic, the icom hm-133. Half the time it doesnt transmit and when it does it stays on.

Has anyone else had these troubles or any solutions?

I don't know what mic number it is, but if it's one that went with a 2100H, 2200H, or an 8000 there is another fix. Just take the mic apart and take a small piece of cardboard from like a 12 pack and fit it in behind the transmit button. It should work fine after that. I've had to do it on every radio I have.
