California; important meeting November 18th!!!!!!!

I hope alot of us can attend this, you know all the anti-hunters will be there, someone needs to represent our side!!!!!

The Department of Fish and Game (DFG) has scheduled a meeting to solicit public comment regarding mammal hunting regulations for 2010. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18 in the Yolo Wildlife Area Conference Room, 45211 County Road 32B, Davis.

Comments will be incorporated into a draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) that will evaluate and disclose the potential effects of hunting various game species on animal populations and the environment. DFG is preparing these documents in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act.

In lieu of attending the meeting, interested parties can submit written comments either by e-mail to dupdike@dfg.ca.gov or by regular mail sent to:

All comments must be postmarked by Nov. 28.

The draft documents are scheduled for release on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010; a 45-day comment period will immediately follow. The final document will be certified by the Fish and Game Commission in April 2010.
