young dogs gave it one hell of a try

decided saturday that i was feelin a little frisky and was gonna hike a canyon get the older dogs out and let the two pups stretch there legs and by older i have a bill toppins bred walker lookin thing thats 3 a female bluetick out of some damn good dogs she is almost two a plott male thats ten months a plott pup thats 6 months and a majestic majestic x cameron cross 5 months old so ya not really older but totally cleared my head of how i train and set new goals saturday proved what i have been doin so any way called a friend with a blue dog two years old but pretty much a pet hunts on occasion its noon im thinkin perfect trash break day start hikin get about 100 yards up in the canyon when the two blue dogs strike my ten month old plott and walker thing was in there too but silent trackers so im thinkin deer jog over start lookin for deer elk anything tracks a little snow but more dirt real shaddy canyon though get over can't see anything so i watch the dogs they are movin very very slow and bein real nosey finally get up to some snow watch my dogs run there noses up a fallen pine and there it is bobcat tracks watched them young dogs go up one side back down up the stream i bit then back up the other side never even stopped to look back at me it was real slow goin my majestic pup was truckin right with the bigger dogs sniffin away from the tracks on the tree figured had to be from latter the day before tracks where froze went like that for 5 hours finally pulled them cause it was gettin dark any time the dogs would start circlin my good blue girl would keep it pushin she is just like her dad im still glowin super proud was to far behind it i think but dogs noses where rubbed raw from ground poundin wish i had a camera perfect line of dogs one behind eachother just workin away with my majestic pup in the back would of been nice to get it jumped but there is nothin better then seein the change i have made the dogs a have gotten and time and money into it payin off with them cold trailin that and not wantin to stop brings the fire right back for this game thanks for readin try to get pics up soon

wow. that's a lot of young dogs for one guy. Glad they are coming along as you hoped. Sounds like you had a fun day.

Yes it is a lot of young dogs. and that was a lot of hours of hard work, and not one break on trash. I gotta beleive they had the opportunity to trash in that time and did not, so you must be doing something right. Good work! Thanks for the good story. I can see it all in my head. You are right it would have been a cool picture, but, I swear I have a memory of seeing that picture just from your words.

thanks guys i was gleamin with joy and they did cross trash had elk tracks cross the bobcat trail but they know better done alot of trash breakin with themi should be goin out again this weekend ill make sure to take my camera and get some pics
