Old timer from southern B C Canada.
I ran a lot of cats and bear with some great hounds out of the Lees straine. But thats all in the day's gone by. Sold my trap line, I got my first weasel on the way to school 74 years ago, now I can do what I feel like doing and when. Good luck to all the new trappers and hunters. Jack

Jack lets hear some stories. Tell us about your dogs or your favorite dog. Lets hear some stories of the days gone by. Does anybody still run the same dogs that you use to?

I second that.

I started with a pup out of a lee and a Bluetic. in 1951 and some of that blood is still running in B C. I liked the red ones the best, great tree hounds. They would stay treed for hours. We had no tracking radios in the good old days.

I would love to read a book by an old timer that preferred red dogs. I love the red dogs too. Horshur, if Jack is too modest to tell us his real name and the name of his book, can you tell us? Its pretty hard to find it if we don't know what to look for...
So, badge215, whats the significance of your handle?
