put up a decent tom today

Post by pat_kemp »

Well me n one of my buddies went up today and cut this decent tom. the dogs took him good and put him up. on our way down a road to listen to the dogs treeing we cut a big tom. So figured we sould gather the dogs up and come run him. well that lion wasnt workin with us and kept jumpin finally got uner him and got the dogs back. went and turned loose on the big tom. the dogs had him going hot and had him jumped but he ran right to where we caught the other one and got all messed up with all the different tracks so never caught him. oh well still a fun day.

Mr. Kemp, congrats. It's and awfull problem to have when there are too many tracks to get chased all in one day  .

Nice tom and the dogs look good.

It's a shame when you have to rush around so you can put out on a second track....It's funny how you always seem to cut the one you really want to run when you are out of dogs...

Nice looking pack!!!

Thanks for sharing

Yeah no kidding U.R.E. always seems to happen like that. well went out yesterday and run me a bobcat, they ran him up through the rocks and steep hills for about 4 hours kept catchin him on rocks and he kept jumping. well finally they shut him down on a big cliff. i went up there got on top of the cliff and set my gun and camera down went to look over the edge where he and the dog were and he saw me and bailed so never got to kill him or get any pics. was a big ol boy though real pretty was silver in color with orangish spots on him.
