hi everyone, this is really a great site. ive been reading post's for a few days, lots of great info. i have a walker i run on coyote. and we have a plott pup 10 months we plan on trying to train on cats.

Good luck with the cat hunting what town in maine you from? I try and go up and hunt bobcats with some freinds from kenduskeg Me area every year.

im in waldoboro. got my boys pup last febuary from a guy in union. i think he runs mostly bear and does cats in the off season.i'm terrible with names i think his was jamie. when i got there i found out had met him a few years before when he came down too run yotes with mutual friends. small world sometimes

You guys have many cats around you in waldoboro? I understand if you don't want to talk about it. I can assure you that I will not hunt your area. I've got plenty of cats to play with. I'm interested in meeting some new people here in maine. Must be a ton of yotes your way. There everywhere. My grandfathers got a pretty big crew with a bunch of dogs. They kill a lot of coyotes that's for sure

well too be honest im not sure what the cat population is. i saw 2 last winter. one was house cat sized and the other almost as big as my walker, it was bigger than i thought cats got.no worries about huntin my territory, i hunt ware i want an you can do the same. i dont own the land i just enjoy it lol. what area are you in?

Were around belfast area. I work down your way. Warren actually. I've had a few guys tell me where there are some cats in warren. Union. There's cats everywhere really. Just gotta put the time in I guess. Well if you ever wanna meet up some morning I'm up for anything. Its an hour ride either way

sorry about the slow reply. be great fun to get together an hunt. look on my new post in the cat forum, might not b trainin a cat hound. last year there was a cat close by here an i found the tracks again last september. we get the right conditions i'll scout it out an look for sign
if i find any i'll let ya know an you can run it if ya want.
