wv bear season opens monday...

bear season opens monday in wv...Has anyone seen any movement? There's not much food just wondering your opinions if they have laid down for the winter.

I am in Virginia right on the border of WV but I havent seen too much movement in the area I hunt. My dad was hunting my dogs this week for me and treed one that weighed in at 162 and the other maybe would have went 60 pounds so he was left alone. I rode around down here for a few hours on some forest service roads and didnt see one bear track. Im thinking they have already layed up cause they have nothing to eat so they are just not wasting the energy and went in. Have a good season over in WV.
