Thats all gonna depend on the 2 dogs mated Try this formula out. Good BLUETICK HOUND + GOOD PLOTT HOUND = MAYBE GOOD HOUNDS MAYBE NOT, YOU CAN ALSO SEE IT THIS WAY GOOD HOUND +GOOD HOUND = MAYBE GOOD HOUNDS, MAYBE NOT. THERE IS NO ONE WHO CAN SAY, When you breed a so and so color of hound be it plott, redbone what ever to a hound of a different color the pups should turn out like=

Even if ten guys bred 10 different plotts to 10 different blueticks and had a total of 120 pups there wont be 2 just alike, if these 20 total dogs are all from the same line of heavy line bred dogs on both sides 10 line bred blueticks + 10 line bred plotts and all are top notch dogs your chance is getting better but not @ all because they were a color but because there gene pool was concentrated around good tight bred dogs.

This is just my 2 cents & some one else may tell you totaly different, in the end there your dogs so go for it if thats what you want and both dogs are above average in quality if not i wouldn't breed either to anything
