well good deal atleast someone still has they're rights. I might be moving to madras at the end of the month so maybe that will help my luck with the weather. If not atleast my father in law has a lot of experience hunting over there and knows where the cats cross all the time so i can atleast start roading them and heck even try to get em to strike off the new box i just built. Another good thing is he has some good dogs to help further my process of attemping to get my dogs trained.

i have always told my wife if i could find work over there id be liven aroud there in a heartbeat. got a friend that lives in union and last year i went over there and did some whitetail hunting with a friend that had a tag, no luck though. there sure are alot of critters to chase over that way and it makes a guy have it alot tougher to fallow them strict rules when im sure you find about a 3/1 bob to lion track ratio if not higher. we do all our deer hunting in the strawberrys and that is hands down GODS COUNTRY!!!!!!! sucks with work bein the way it is. i also have a friend that lives in lagrande that moved from here due to work, kinda ironic. he frames and ownes a gutter company and says he is real busy. maybe he is real lucky i dont know. good luck with hunting and with the move.

Strawberrys huh I had a murders creek tag for first season rifle bull this year. Hunted aldrich mountain with no luck. Seen a lot of cows and calfs just had horrible luck with the bulls. My wife and her uncle both got bulls though atleast. They hunted low. I hunted high going after a big bull. I really really wanted to hunt the strawberrys but i was alone with that. No one else was interested so i guess i missed out!

we hunt the beulah unit and we have had huge success over the years with it for deer. we have hunted it for elk as well and have had success with it as well. this year while deer hunting we probly saw more 6pt bulls than bucks and we did pretty good for deer going 11 out of 12 with 10 4pts and 1 3pt so they are there just gotta find that deep dark hole they are hiding in. I hunted ochocos for elk this year and it was my first year there. we went 3 for 3 with my bull being the biggest a 6pt just at a score of about 300 and two other nice 5 pts. it was alot of fun and i got some pics of deer camp and elk as well on here somewhere. All n all i have had a damn good year and i will take luck over skill any day of the week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
