One More Oregonian
I have been reading this forum for a few weeks and I couldn't take it anymore, have to get my two cents in once in while. Us Oregon hunters must feel like reaching out since we can't hunt the big game anymore! Anyhow, I've hunted with dogs most of my life around Douglas County, currently have four walkers with one laid up from a snare a couple weeks ago. I mostly bobcat hunt with an occasional coon race mixed in. It's nice to hear about a few hunters around that are closer to my age. (a young 31). I generally don't hunt with many people except my uncle who got me going when I was just a lad. Our dogs are mainly out of the Faulk dogs from Coquille, with a few others mixed in along the way. Glad to read everybodies stories and pick up a new idea here and there.

Are you the JC from the Oakland area, do you hunt with Zip once in a while?

no , i have lived in myrtle point my whole life. i used to be an outfitter guide ,coastrange outfitters. guided will primos , jim shocky and a bunch more for elk and deer. never took anyone with the dogs . just never felt right when i take my dogs out i like it to be just me and them. my dad goes with me quite a bit,but i dont like taking people that talk. i know some people can relate to that. quit guiding last year got tired of alot of things.
