need help from the cat masters

Post by wablkandtan »

first of all here was my conditions. snowed at 4000 ft and rain alittle too. found 5 tracks today. all looked really good. no snow in them. my dog would smell the track in the road take off wide open go off the edge of the road and would loose the track as soon as it hit the trees. it was warming and the snow was melting out of the trees and washing out the track. i got tired of trying to work the track with her. will the water make the scent disipate. what should i do? thanks

cuss the weather, it happens to me every time it warms and snow starts falling out of the trees and it rains a little or just drips water out of the trees! Whats worse is the tracks look smoking hot in the open then a person can't even follow them under the trees, the dogs will smoke them in areas there is no trees but as soon as it goes into trees the dog is done!
