Biggest female I've seen in Minnesota was 38. In years past I killed what ever but for the last few it has been only males and VERY few of those. This year we only killed two and both were males. Things will be tough next year as the hare population is all but gone this winter.
47 from last year.

Nice cats guys thanks for the pictures really enjoyed them I'd love to see more if you've got them. We just got a dusting today and a little more tonight so I'm going to try to get after them in the morning. I'll let you know how that goes.

yup and witnesses and the mount in my buddies home.
Sad part is I found it one morning and got snowed out from hunting it and had to go home for work. My buddy smoked it the next morning. The cat left a track bigger than a pepsi can circle. My buddy still likes to rub me about the deal. :D Especially since I haven't personally shot one to get me in the 40lb club yet. Helped others into the club with my hounds but haven't pulled the trigger personally.
I will have to dig for that picture as it has been 5-6 years ago or so already.

Thanks looking good. Went out today and ran a couple of tracks. First one pup ran pretty good right to the den then was hit by a porcupine And spent some time pulling them before we could run another track. But we did hit another one and again den'd up and couldn't get to it. My pup wouldn't run the track though, a friends bear dog did it real good for it being a colder track though. Told you I wasn't color blind that walker ran damn good today. Very impressed thanks again Jason Come on down any time and we'll do it again. Looking for some fresh snow to be here soon.
