Bobcat Hunting around Laredo Texas

Question for someone in the Texas area. I have been looking all over the WPS website and can't find a concrete answer so, what is the season for bobcat with hounds? What license do I need to purchase? Are there any particulars reference hounds in Texas? I will be down in the area until late November and want to keep my dogs tuned up. Would also consider running hogs so what license and season are they?

There is no season here on hogs or bobcat, you can hunt them all year. Laredo area has a ton of both. The problem will be finding places to hunt. It's all private but there are some big ranches. If I were you I would stick with the cats. You'll have an opportunity to put your dogs on a ton of cats if you can find places to go. If you let them run hogs too you may not spend much time catching cats.

DerekE is correct in that there is no closed season, however I would add that you will need an out of state hunting license. Verify this with a license vendor, but it appears to me that you will need Type 107 at a cost of $132.00.
