I think that would be pretty fun...I'd be there;) We might even get to watch a few of those jokers in the cage who threaten to beat each other senseless actually get it done!

I'll run a big ass grill and referee a few bouts!

Hey, I think that would be pretty neat. I also think that if we could make it an organization of some kind it may benefit all us. It is not a new concept and it seems to work. Heck their could be a trade show, with sponsors maybe, and talks and presentations from people, maybe some awards for whatever, but of course, the side conversation with people there who be the highlight. I know that would be a hard thing to pull off, but I think it would be neat and very beneficial. As far as I know it doesn't exist, I know they have gatherings for separate breeds and clubs, but like you said if we could get a lot of the people from around the Country together as a large group it would be great. Of course the biggest problem is most of use spend all are extra money on our dogs and just getting out, but then again I would save up the money to go to something like this.

March 19, 20 & 21 in Elk Creek California there's a field trial that will have houndsmen from all over the West Coast, I've already talked to a dozen guy's from Oregon, Washington and Nevada that will be there, last year there were over 300 dogs entered over the two day's, this year it's starting on Friday afternoon to make sure that we can get everything done by Sunday.

Sounds like a great idea have you talked to Buddy about it, being his site he might be able to help? Also might want to talk with liontracker he was working on a National Houndsmen Assocation?

I think it's a good idea, even without field trials, etc guys could go and learn and have fun. I went to Autumn Oaks this last year and had the time of my life but there weren't many big game guys, I'd sure enjoy it more with big game guys. I also like the idea of presentations, workshops, tradeshow, etc. I'd be there for sure!

Heck.. you were at Autumn Oaks?? You missed the Oregon girls then LOL.. We've gone the last 2 years in a row and are making it 3 this year.. It's our annual get out of Oregon and have fun with the coon hunters from the east - trip... They are a kick in the ass over there aren't they...

An annual meeting would be kinda fun... I'm not big on field trials, but I would go to hang out and meet a few people...
