Billy Kiehne is certainly one of a kind and the real deal. His book ( HOUNDS, HUNTERS AND HORSEMAN) is a great read and a worthwhile study of that part of New Mexico.

This book is published by Git A ROPE Publishing out of Payson, Arizona and High-LonesomeBooks.com has it.


There is another book from this publisher called (Mountain Cowboys) By Jinx Pyle from Payson. This is a great book about 3 generations of lion hunters from that country led by the very well known Floyd Pyle who was a State Hunter for Arizona . Great read if you can find it.
