4 wheeler box

Post by sheimer »

This is a trial box for my Honda Rubicon. I was going to make it out of aluminum, but with the price, I thought that I would make one out of wood to see if it's really what I want first. I have just under thirty bucks into it and about three hours in the shop with a skill saw and a drill.

I still need to cut some "rigging" holes in the sides for show mostly and so I have a hand hold to pick it up to put it on the machine.

It weighs around 30-40 pounds.

Looks good, How much does it weigh? How many dogs do you think you can get in? And how big are your dogs?

It's about 1100 square inches of floor space. We have put 4 dogs in that many square inches before, it was tight, but they made it work for no farther we were going. I would think that 3 would fit nicely. There is almost 20 inches of clearance inside. My dogs are around 18 inches at the shoulder.
