WI Bears Tags Are Out

Just an FYI they posted the drawing results on the web today! I drew with 7 points, can't wait, this will be my first WI bear.

we got quite a few on 7 points this year. should be a good harvest season again this year.

that's funny because we had a couple people draw this year when they sent in on seven points. When you sent in last fall did you have 7 or 8 points? if you sent in on 7, not everyone with 7 drew a tag. everyone that sent in last fall with 8 points should have drawn a tag if they filled everything out right. that is what the DNR told me when i called and asked about it.

I had six points when I sent in this year so it would have been my 7th year and I got my tag. If you didn't draw sending in your 8th year I would check it out, everone with 8 should have drawn this year. Probably just another screw up from the one and only WI DNR.

It all depends where he put in for. C took 4-5 points. B took 9 points this year A & D took 7 to 8 points to draw.

Thats true, I drew in zone A, which I always thought took the longest, maybe D needed more points this year.

B always need the most points. D and A are both pretty close to the same time frame. I would assume that it you had 8 points (7 pref and 1 for application), then you would have pulled a tag in D. A few people got lucky and got them with 7 total last year and it's probably the same this year.
