PLOTTMAN55-
Every line has it's all-stars and excelling in one way or another, I've seen many lines do good things on big game. I've never run pigs with dogs, so first-hand all I can say is I've never seen grit in a hound like I have in the Cameron lines in my own hounds and in others. I know a few who run them on hogs and I've seen some impressive things from them. If I were shopping for a hog-dog, I'd talk to 12-Gauge.. Seems like Cutter Bay has some real pretty blues that are being bred for just what you're looking for. If you're looking to buy a started dog, I know a fella in OK who may be selling a few young blues with Cameron blood in them that are well on there way with hogs.

I agree 12 gauge is probably your man he matches your style and question to a T and seems to put a lot of work and thought into his hounds and hunting. :joker I think his dogs are a little better quality then I'd waste chasing hogs :joker seriously he's put some time into his research in.

Thank you for the comments. I do hunt all my dogs, they just happen to show well also. No matter what line you decide on, make sure to do your research. Waiting a year never hurt anyone. Make sure it will suit your hunting style first and foremost.

Regards,
Josh
