Bear Rig/Start dog free to a young hunter. NOT A CULL.
Have a neutered male walker/trigg bear/cat/fox dog. He just turned 10 last month but is still in great shape. He will rig, start the track and be at the tree when you get there. My last hunt he did just that and stayed treed for 6 hours until I could get to the tree. He is slowing down now and I would like to get him to a young hunter who needs a start dog. I have young dogs that are filling his shoes and dont want to see him just sit around. He minds good and hunts well. I loaned him to a young hunter up North for the last part of bear season. I took him out and he struck a couple tracks on the box that were suspect...probably coyote so he could use a reminder. This is not a junk dog. This dog is not for sale and will not go to a dog trader. Only someone who will use him and promise me he wont go on a chain. He has spent his entire life in a kennel with a run and I would like to keep it that way. He has only had two owners in his life. The guy I got him from in Klamath Falls Oregon 3 years ago and me. Email me if you think you could use him or know someone who might. I am located in Northern Ca and you will have to pick him up.

I am glad he went where he was needed.
I am also glad there are people out there trying to help out other hunters. We are a big family that needs to stick together.
