I usually hunt at night because of work but had a nice tom cross the road in front of the pickup about 1O yesterday morning ducked down in the grass then crossed back behind the truck and loped off. One of those looks like a slam dunk deals but I didnt have any dogs and that was the same thing I thought the last time I had my rearend handed to me.

A man is not very smart that can,t find his wife 2 jobs.
And any wife should be able to support her man and a pack of hounds.

Never shock your dog off bad game
untill he knows what good game is.

In Okla
Winter, hunt 24/7
Summer, hunt night at any time.
Cats don,t have much of a pattern.
They can be out at any time.
but if they are not walking on a certian day u won,t find them.
Weather will decide wheather they walk or sleep.
Except if they are starving or breeding.

I hunt morning -day time mostly because of the laws here. however I have seen cats at all hours of day and night. check the movement of prey species and that will correlate with the cats movement or vice versus actually. night time hunting gives the cats a advantage as their eyes are better at night. and that hunker and slip away shit can work in their favor more then in the day time as a hound can become confused with a scent pool and no cat.
