Last tom of the season

Post by chilcotin hillbilly »

My Black and Tan, Rudy caught this big tom on his own yesterday, in what I thought was a trash race on a moose, going the wrong way to boot. Not a track to find of a cat as the snow is like concrete , the garmin showed treed after a number attempts to cut off Rudy. The client was happy camper and I was surprised when I saw what was in the tree, I guess I expected the worse. Beauty tom with a 24 inch tail, I guess this gives it some character.

Well done! Funny how when we think our dogs are doing it right they end up with nothing and at times we think the worst and look what it turns up!? Buggers keep us guessing all the time eh.....

This is Rudy, my oldest hound at three years old. A couple more years and it will be great to see what he becomes.
