Hello from a CAT CRAZED MO. boy!!!

Hey y'all just found out about the site a short while ago, and have been loving it. I live here in southern Missouri and have been training a couple of bobcat hounds myself over the last year. I posted a little bit about it last week in the bobcat forum and had only one response so far. Any way I have treed two cats so far and put one in a bluff hole with these new hounds and am really having a blast with it . I trap several cats here most every year and have always wanted to try to run them with hounds. So I got a couple of well bred hound pups (one Redbone male and one Black/Tan female)and started doing some training. They seem to be doing ok but nobody in this area has any catdogs, so I have never had the chance to run them with any proven dogs and would love to try it to see if I could learn a little more about the sport. My main goal is to eventually try to take these dogs west to try my hand at lion hunting with them (its been a lifelong dream). I've bowhunted out west for 20 yrs and taken some nice elk and some real nice muledeer,but I have always wanted to run big cats with hounds. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and let everyone know how much I am enjoying reeding the good tips and advice from some of you seasoned veterans. And if anyone near my area would like to come run there hounds with me in this steep Ozark Mt. country give me a shout. Keep the good info comin !!!
