if they were cold trailing they would be getting alot more trees and dens, cold tracks dont usually turn into ground kills aleast not six of them. i've hunted spots like this that are way over populated you can get a hot track going day or night. these kinda spots are an opportunity to train some real bad ass coon dogs. but in my opinion in the long run hunting this way will ruin all those dogs, turn them into a bunch of box slobbering, pack of coon killing me too dogs. if the dogs were getting treed i wouldnt say any of this. but hunting one or two dogs will produce independent , thinking , use your nose tree dogs. i guess when you got spots like this it dont matter what kink of dogs you got. you could probably do just a good with poodles. ground kills happen i know. but if these guys only hunted two dogs i guarantee one of two things more treed coons or they will find out those dogs aint as good as they think. only one way to find out. either way aleast it would be more of a sport. all right i'm not trying to be a dick, i'm just saying if they hunted one or two dogs at a time instead of six. the end result would be better dogs. i could careless how many coon you kill and how you do it, sounds like it needs to be done.

i hear ya bulfytr, i hunt coon on a desert river not alot of trees their either, all the more reason to run less dogs. i bet u see more trees cause the coon will have a chance to get treed when theirs not six dogs trying to pull it apart. Its more of a sport that way. plus like i said the end result would be better more independent hunting dogs. yall got an opportunity their, what ya do with it is up to you guys. JMO

just so you know all of those dogs can/will and do get hunted one on one and still catch 50% on the ground seems like they don't like to tree.ive seen plenty of times the coon bump a tree and keep on going its like they want a ground fight

Wow I see lots gone on since just yesterday.........

Rilfeman I still dont know what attitude you and your pal Bigfoot always say I have??

C.J.1178 Let me clear up a little something cuz I think your refering to the pic with one in the water surrounded by dogs.Mabe you didn't read what was posted above the pics.
Cuz that day I cought one with my two.Met up with Bulfyter who already had one with his one dog and he had met up with an old fella who already had one with his dogs. Then my two bulfyter's one and the old fella's dogs got together and cought the one you see in those pictures.....If you say your not trying to be a "dick" don't use comments like see who's got real coon dogs and stuff like that.Realy ain't cool to talk shit on people's dogs, dog's can't defend them selves on here and I don't think you'll like what owner's have to say....JMO

[quote="radar"]Long bike ride to agine and as always well worth it.Cought one with my two then met up with a friend that was also out hunting and he cought one,he only brought one dog and the dog pulled a solo.Well we ended up getting together with another guy who was having the same day, he had one already also. We all ended up together and cought one more!!!! great day....

well if his hunting spots or crawling with coon why is asking for people to tell him about other spots he can hunt. This KID needs to learn how to conserve game in these hunting spots and not exterminate them.
arizonabeagle wrote:yeahh dont worry norcalkemmer, that place radar hunts is CRAWLIN with coon
been there a few times and its like the coons are appearing outta thin air, literally
