Free cast just put a shock collar on her so if she trashes you can teach her a lesson. Around her after the snow comes off there's deer everywhere! In the summer I locate coyotes at night by calling and then dump the box on them it's a blast. It's real good for the pups the running is usually good. But I wouldn't think you would want to run a hound by themselves at night don't know though.

when you say calling do you mean howling or dinner bell calls like rabbit in distress?

coyote howls mainly just to narrow down to a block of woods or certain section the coyote serenade usually works the best for me

I have a CD that i play out of a radio I hook to my battery that has hounds barking, sirens and coyotes howling. I would say the sirens and then coyote howling has worked the best for me.
