i am looking to hunt my hound on coons, she is 7 months old. She goes nuts when i show her a raccoon But when my cat walks in the front door all she does is play, she will chase it outside, should i be worried about my dogs aggression?
WIll having a cat ruin my dog?

Re: NOT AGGRESSIVE ENOUGH?
I wouldn't worry a bit. My best kill dog (and most gritty dog) will let my housecats eat with him and sleep in his dog house. He has no problem catching coon, or hanging on a bear.
I have a couple that weren't raised with cats and they hate them. I have one that was raised with them that suddenly decided at about 5 months old that he wanted to get them, changed from play to kill pretty quick.

It just depends what they're used to,i have some plotts that will try to kill anything they catch, but at home let chickens and goats eat thier food.

Dogs know the difference between house cats and wild cats. Don't worry about it at all.
Some guys run Hounds to hunt Lions and Bears.... I hunt Lions and Bears so I can run Hounds!
