When you run out of substance Brad, you are welcome to come up with names to call me. I got big shoulders. I can carry you brother.
Maybe Trump should try that technique. Oh...wait a minute...
Big N' Blue wrote:David, when Reagan switched to the republican party, he said he didn't leave the Democratic party, they left me. The same thing is happening to all of us, we are not leaving the republican party, they have left us. Trump is bringing us back to common sense and identifying problems that neither party has addressed in decades. Get over it and be a part of the solution or get off the tracks. The Train is coming.
I appreciate when you guys give me things to think about, and challenge my thoughts. And I appreciate a place to try out my thoughts and hope some one can straighten me out.
There is a lot more on my heart to run past you. But for now I will just say I am watching and waiting.
Trump has had two interviews with liberal talkers since sealing it; that I know of. In both of them he swung hard left from the positions that won him the candidacy in his tax plan and minimum wage. And he already softened his stance on immigration with the "touch back" plan. In all seriousness, if he continues with that speed in that direction he could be to the left of Hillary by November. Evidently, he can not stand up to the liberals. (Sound familiar?).
Now he hired his finance minister from Goldman Sax and 81% of this man's donations have gone to democrats including Obama and Clinton.
Now they are saying Trump might take a Democrat as his running mate.
I am watching and waiting. I have till November.
It is not a simple issue for me. In fact it is quite complicated for me. It is time for me to figure out what I believe and how that plays out in real life And how much I am willing to sacrifice.
If Brad goes to calling me "poopy head" though, It will break me. That I can tell you.
You all are lucky that it is so plain and clear for you.
Talk to you later.

WTF David!!! You have been circling around with your post basically saying that we have no knowledge of who would make the best president or what we should do now! The Fact Is, you are what the news is now calling zombies. Which is Cruz supporters that don't know what to do now!! I started this thread and tried to Nip it in the bud twice, And you would Bash Trump and those that supported him. All I asked was to pull together, not to be lectured to!!!!! By the way my Grand pa took me to a Hobo Jungle when I was a Kid and he said "They had lost their way" and that they road on the trains." Take Care and God Bless

If the Trump train means I have to wear ear plugs a blind fold and a gag, It is probably not a train ride I would want very bad.

Did I hurt your feelers? If I did I'm Sorry I didn't know you were so easily offended !! You are talking to the wrong person if you expect me to spare words which may offend people. Now don't expect me to reply to your TRAIN of thought, if you smell what you've stepped in !

Ok, well, I apologize for being off topic.
This was the summer of 1974.
My last clear memory of the ride was shouting at those two people asking them where I was. I can't actually remember getting off that train. Maybe I am still on it. Lol.
My next memory I am in a little town south of Lincoln Nebraska and there is dew and it is a lovely early morning. I am guessing I just went back to sleep on that train and rode till it stopped and was probably half asleep when I got off.
I still had Florida in my sights, but I had spent sixth and seventh grades in Omaha Nebraska and third through fifth in Oakland Iowa, so these were my next stops.
It was my first freight train ride, but it was such a blast, I was sure it would not be my last.
And I have to say, if the thought speaks to you at all: a ride in a box car through the Sierra Nevada Mountains, where no automobile can go, on an early summer morning with both doors open, sitting in the doorway, legs dangling down, must go on your bucket list.
It is what country songs are made of.
It is one peice in that big jigsaw puzzle called "Land of the Free..."
Take a hound along.
You might be surprised at some of the weekend hoboes who make more money than you during the week.

Always wanted to do an Am track over the Sierras, freight sounds more fun now. Never thought of that. About Trump, I started out completely Cruz. Switched on my own prior to NV Caucus to Trump for a lot of reasons. If you actually listen to what he says and in the context in which he said it, rather than the bites that have been greatly distorted, he makes a lot of sense. I understand how Cruz kept stating that "Trump wants to punch you in the face" etc. Sounds bad , but it's a joke. Get over it. Personality trait? Maybe. All this politically correct stuff just stops all dialog. That is a technique used by the liberals. Now that all dialog is stopped we only talk about someone's, I'll call it, Flub. I never heard Trump say he wanted to raise the minimum wage to $15/hr. Maybe raise it $.15. Obama said the wanted to "fundamentally change America". He has. Some like that change. I would like to see "America great again" in the context Trump is using.

The question is Al were you impressed? Are you going to make the switch or stay democrat?
