Trumps first instincts are liberal. If he catches himself before spewing a liberal response, he gives what a liberal thinks a conservative veiw would be. Then when he finds out how true conservatives believe, he walks back either of the above responses when he has a conservative voting base. Then leans left when in a left leaning state.

I pray that he finds some kind of foundation. Right now he has the same guiding principles Obama had, but with a different agenda. Feels great when his agenda matches mine. It's going to feel real bad when it doesn't.

God bless him and guide him to the truth that never changes and does not move or drift in each new situation no matter what it is, and no matter the consequences of clinging to that immovable foundation. (The Constitution and Bill of Rights. Hopefully he will read them some day).

As it is, I have no idea who he is. Neither do you.

It is really good hearing from you Brad. I have been a little worried when things got so quiet over there. I agree that we know what Hillary is. It makes me at first astounded, and then very sad that others who know what she is; still want her as their president. Very sad, for we have lost our country's guiding light, and I fear we have lost our country; vanquished by an army of one: the most powerful enemy we have ever faced.

Trump is what our country needs right now. He's not bought off by the big banks and monopoly corporations that have our elected officials in a strangle hold. Our country is in serious trouble. Cruz is bought and paid for by the big banks. Do your homework on him and his wife before anyone falls for him. Trumps not perfect by any means, but he is dang sure the best we have running. He sure has the establishment shaking in their boots and doing everything they can to derail his chances. Some GOP/RNC asswipes have even said, they will vote for "The Witch" over him if they are unable to derail his nomination!!

It is the first time I realized the GOP/RNC does not give a rip about winning. All they want is to keep their cushy politician lifestyle. And they figured out that being the underdog helps them raise more money. Corruption at it's finest.

They have been exposed.

I dont know why my first post did not go thru. But what I said is that Trump at his age does not need to expose himself and his family to type of stress. I hope he wins in a landslide as he is what our country needs to get back to basics. TIMO.

Some people cannot see faults in their dogs. They call it kennel blindness. Evidently a lot of folks have kennel blindness toward the barking dog Hillary, just as they did toward their messiah Obama. And honestly, they make themselves look like dumb sheep following each other to the slaughter.

It's scary how quickly that kennel blindness can creep up on people you love.

It's hard to watch.

I hope you are right about Trump. I will tell you what I think he is when he holds still for a few days. All I can tell you is what he was. And I don't believe what he WAS is what America needs.

You are placing more hope in people's ability to change themselves than what I am able to muster up.

The most important thing you can do in the 2016 election? Do all you can in your own home State to change what you can. So many of our loses come at a local level!

You'd be surprised how many people who love hounds and hunting aren't registered to vote!
100% of those liberals that want everything you have will turn out and vote to get what they want...I just hope history doesn't repeat itself!

We lost our hound hunting in Oregon in 1994 by 1.8%....All that was needed to prevent this from happening? Simply register to vote and VOTE! Don't matter what topic you like best on BGH? Without our god given rights, all you will do is talk about the past! This is the single most important thread on BGH and the least read and commented on, or of concern!

I registered in Linn County as District 46 Precinct Committee Person for the GOP and will be all in with the nominee for the GOP as the lesser of evils, as a constitutional conservative, I will dedicate as much time as possible between now and November to Support our GOP nominee for Secretary of State, Dennis Richardson. If you live in Oregon, just know Secretary of State Atkins (socialist democrat) tossed 700,000 validated petition signatures in the trash for a constitutional amendment for the right to hunt fish and trap in line with every single democrat in Oregon! The level of corruption in State will make your head spin....Never mind the National level!

My biggest efforts and concern will be getting behind whoever gets the GOP nod for Governor and whoever can unseat US Rep. DeFazio for starters, reelect my house district 17 Sprenger and Dist. 9 Senator Girod and from this point, I can only question Trump, he has my vote if he is the nominee.... Here is what pisses me off on the National side. Once California has counted the ballots, the newly elected President will be named before the first ballot is counted in Oregon! Here is what I know for sure beyond a shadow of a doubt, Hillary is just plain evil and if you vote for her? You are just plain stupid if you are on this board reading this and think she is anything more! Not sure why those second amendment supporting hound loving people support her or any democrat for that matter?....Sheer ignorance I'd say!

I'm not much of a supporter or fan of the GOP. All I know for sure is? I don't support a single democrat and will take a chance vs. knowing damn well the outcome of ANY democrat who gets elected will oppose my lifestyle 100%...... Mike

The only problem with not voting for Trump because of what he may do is that if he doesn't get in the rest of the choices WILL do it. He is the only chance we have short of cleaning house ourselves. If we miss this chance how many more do we have. The Donald may be "the last Trump".
I am.

Repeal the 19th Amendment.

I am not saying I won't vote for him. I am saying we have no idea what we are getting when we do. He has no foundation. He has and will continue to change with the wind... Like any good salesman.

If you want to understand how Obama plays the public, read Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals".

If you want to understand how Trump plays the public, read Donald Trumps "Art of the Deal".

I know more about Cruz than I want to know and he ticks me off. But he is the only constitutional conservative running. This is indisputable. Whatever else he is, he has always defended the Constitution and Bill of Rights. I hope we don't lose him. Maybe he can go to the Supreme Court at least.
