Had a great showing for the Field Trial! 149 dogs entered for the 2 day event, 51 dogs made the finales and every thing went great with the format change, so good that we will run Elk Creek almost the same way with no qualifyers, all dogs will get drawn out and ran in heat races, then all 1st line dogs will go into there own finals and 2nd line and/trees go to there finales if the 1st line dog gets any part of the tree then the other tree and the 2nd line will go into the other division ( basicly 2 divisions), then get drawn out into 5 finales, it's looking like there will be two 1st line finals and three 2nd line finals it all depends on how many dogs we have entered.

Last tune up before Elk Creek, Pot on Sunday the 6th at Spencville Wild Life area/Jones corral, they are calling for a chance of rain depending on what wheather guy you listen to, we will be setting up the canopys and will run "Rain or Shine"

We've had to change the location of the Pot Race on Sunday March 6th because F&G double booked the Jones Coral area with a bird dog event, so we are moving to the Black powder range where we had our 2 Field Trials, Rain Or Shine, if we don't have enough for the pot race we will still run some drags for the guy's that want to tune there dogs up for Elk Creek.
