Thanks for the information!

I plan to attend Elk Creek for sure. I will see if I can make it to any more. I enjoy the field trials, a nice break from hunting sometimes.

I'll be at both the Spenceville Trials, and all 3 Days of Elk Creek this year for sure... Can't believe it's already that time of the year again! :beer

We will be haveing the bear race, but we are talking about making some changes to it by having 2 races one on Friday night and the other on Saturday night and you can only enter a dog in one or the the other but not both, and make the race a little shorter the 7-8 miles was a bit long and some of the guy's didn't get there dogs back until the next day.

and the weather for the field trial this weekend at Spencville is looking pretty good so we should have a good turn out

The entrees close at 9:00 for all of our events.

We had a great turn out for the Field Trial with 137 dogs entered for the the 2 days,
Jr. Cruchfield's dog Big John ran away with 1st division final.

I'd like to thank everybody that showed up to run your dogs and helped the club with the Field Trial, we are having our first Pot Race this weekend and the weather is looking good so we should have a good turn out.

Format change for the FEB.12 & 13 Spenceville BLACK POWDER RANGE FIELD TRIAL,
We will not be running the dogs in the qualifying races, we are going to just draw them out in random heats and divisions, the way they have been ran with having to qualify for the divisions have always been luck of the draw anyways, if you got in a race with a couple of the top dogs you could get in a lower division, but if you got in with younge dogs you could end up in with the top dogs in there division, so it just comes down to luck of the draw anyways.

Glad to hear about the elimination of the qualifying races. It will provide more time to auction the actual races, less wait time, more daylight for racing and hopefully the club will make more money as a result.

We're there!
