Can anyone see a DC power plug on this new one. I looked at the site and see they have one for it, but I can't see where it is located.
It isn't quite what I was hoping for but it's got some neat new toys in there. I wish they would just build a bigger screen car type GPS with a power cored that I could plug an antenna into. They could sell thousands of these if they sold them for $300 without any collars. Espcecially if they made them to not get fried by high watt radio transmission.
As for range, do they have those flip flopped. I thought the new one had 9 miles tops, which would realistically be 2.5.

Some body help me out. I'm not a very good reader, or very smart....
Does it still only have the 50 collar #'s? Are we gonna have the same interference problems as the 220??
Thanks

well i dont see a big differnce between the two? am i missing something, it still tracks 10 dogs, and you will get the same interference problems, and can still fry it with radios, and the only reason its gets a few more miles of tracking is because of a longer antenna.
disapointing

Yes I'm tending to agree with you guys.
I don't know and wouldn't expect Garmin to tell us if they did any work with the RF part of it. My gut feeling is they would try to do something with it since it costs them allot of warranty work. However I don't know

I think the increased range comes from the 320's ability to process information better. Ran with identical antennas the 320 loses signal with less frequency. Although the 220 generally would pick it back up on the next update there are ALOT less of the annoying lost signal beeps. I guess what I'm saying is the 320 does more with less in the way of a signal.

The Gag Order has be lifted from all the Testers, Lot's of talk on some of the websites... I'm glad to hear that there are several Hunters that have been afforded the chance to Field test units and it's not just bird guys.
Now! I just want to thank all you A-holes out there that left my ass out high and dry with the Oregon Model Touch screen comments that I heard and wasy saying!

I can see I have some true friends out there... I'm sure you'll get a good laugh around the camp fire at my expense!
All kidding aside, Thanks for the calls and I look forward to you guys filling us all in on some of the unbiased details of the new Astro, Even Though I'm going to pitch you sh!T! I completely understand that you all had Gag orders on you from Garmin and I do respect that.. I didn't have a gag order so I could spout off what ever I needed to.. I recond if Garmin wanted to shut my ass up they would come make me sign something and hand me a Unit to field test for you guys....
But Damn.. One of you guys (I know there are a couple of you nameless guys on this site) could have called me from a Pay Phone somewhere with a Voice manipulator and just left that " Buddy.. your an Idiot!... Trust me the New 320 isn't a Touch screen.. I repeat the 320 is not a touch screen!.."
But I'm sure we'll get allot more laughing and enjoyment at my expense this way!
