Someone mentioned that his plastic tabs broke on the case. If you look closely at my pic, you can see that I put a spacer (washers) in between the two tabs to keep them from being squeezed together and breaking. Seems to work well. Several dozen trees and it hasn't broke so far.

Mine was the plastic tabs that broke. Im not sure but believe the bear possibly smacked and broke it after the battery died or something. Watched the whole video and truck to tree the camera never ran into any down trees to snap it. I had the washers in there as well. I had the insurance that Best Buy offers on it and they replaced it for free.

I tried attaching mine to a dog harness along the back, but with the dogs skin being so loose the harness would either slide around and the camera would flop on the side, or if tighten to much the dogs skin would get rubbed raw from running. I mounted mine onto just a regular collar and looped it through a mounting piece from the head strap. One problem I noticed was in the cold winter motnts when the waterproff case hits a tree really hard it shatters, and you loose your camera in the snow. they are expensive little itme to loose, so I would also recommend the zip tie idea. I got some great video, little sea sick to see when the run full out, but when on a caught coyote i got some amazing video. Little hard to hear with the water proff case but works good. The camera has a build in setting that records the video upside down so when you play it on a tv or computer it will be right where you need it. Good luck I actually am seeling all my go pro equipment after i lost that one in the snow I got a little gun shy, if you are interested I have tons of extras with the go pro hero 2 camera i would sell you
