Post by bjbmtry »

Has anyone found a food gopro harness for dogs? I have been looking online and haven't seen anything that I think will work real good.

No, just turn it upside down and attach to their collar. I posted some pics how I did it last year, works great. Been ruining one of my dogs all season with one. The only issue I've had is when you catch something back in a tight rock crack, the lens gets scratched up. They are $12 to replace each time.

Like FullCry said, upside down on the collar is going to work best. Put the card into a computer and rotate the video and you're done!

Could one of you post a pic how you mounted your camera on the dogs collar I have been thinking of doing this for a long time just haven't got the camera yet cause wasn't shure on how to mount it so it wouldn't come off.

There is a setting on the camera that flips the image as it records. No need to do anything else.

I've also wanted to try this. Do you guys that have done it get some pretty cool footage? If you don't mind posting some video you've gotten with it I would love to see it.

About 30-40% is usable footage. You'll also need to use a 32 gigabyte card in the camera so it can record for 5-6 hours.

Never had one break, you'll have to test the angle. Look at the side view I posted, that works very well. You do see the dogs head in the video which works out very well. You'll be amazed at some of the video you get.

Im using the mounting system like FullCryHounds. I did have the little tabs of the case break on mine one time. I always run a ziptie around the case to keep it from by some wild chance of popping open. Do have some good footage from mine. Got one video where the dog wearing camera bites the bear coming down the tree to send him back up. Will post the link to it on my facebook. My camera is a go pro 1 so footage is not the best quality. The new go pro 3s take some good video and are smaller and lighter cameras.

Call jason Nutini 250-919-4413 or Chris Hill 250-420-7758, they are selling the KNP Camera vests. Jason called me last night and are taking orders.
