Good stuff Nathan, enjoyed the reading. I used to take my wifes Border with the hounds. She could trail very well but would sit silent and just stare a hole in the cat when treed.

My wife had a queensland heeler when I met her. I used to take her with me on a muskrat trapline. As soon as she figured out I was looking for rat burrows she started letting me know which were active. Caught a lot more rats when I didn't waste sets.
