fill me in on the rules brent? how bout 2 dogs each, strike to tree and see which dogs stay the longest and work the bear the tightest? Lets get it down around $1K so some guys can afford to take ya up on it.

Cobalt, you oughtta get in on this, I've heard about all the bears you've put up in some of Ca's roughest country.

Not sure what this is all about, but I might play. So two dogs, strike to tree or bay. The guy with his dogs working the bear tightest and longest wins?? Just trying to figure out the rules. Do you have to have a 10 year dog or any age. I have a pair of five year old males that are a Plott/Pit cross that can get the job done. Just trying to understand it all before I go and sell the farm. Why Washington? Just trying to save some money on out of state license. Well you guys figure out the rules, price, place, one/two dogs and date.

Good Luck To All Involved

you'll loan me the money with assets to match? Hell all i got are a few 1/4 pit 1/4 airdale 1/2 plott dogs for assets, why don't you make it affordable so you can get taken up on your offer.

Define shit eater, apparently my stud is not a shit eater? So you wanna go one dog each I'm assuming?

Video of me kissing your ass huh? Even I would have to think that would be better than your other videos.

im impartial to mike or brent and am going strickly by what ive seen on eachs videos .mike k dogs seem to be running with the bear across those open ground scenes lacking in grit i know alot of people say i dont want to pay vet bills . but as far as breeding goes iwant my dogs coming out of dogs getting stapled so at least you try and get pups that will bay tight and an ocassional alligator from what ive seen of brents dogs on the videos that bear wouldnt have been just strolling along in the open growth his ass would of been spinning stopping him more. keep the grit close thats the difference between a bear runner and a beardog you might as well just run beagles on them there smaller and eat less. thats my opinion no offense to anyone

I would also like to know if this is open to others or just Brent and Larry. This might be fun.

Several years ago I worked for a guy, a houndsman, that was very sensitive to critisizm about his hounds. He felt he had the best and would back it up completely. His deal was that each person would hunt their dog - and the winner would be awarded the other person's dog - the loser would hand over his hound. Maybe you guys could do something like that?

Seeing as how im the one holding these permits I better chime in. Im still trying to figure out how we go from Best stud dog that you know? to guys questioning Mike kemp for making money from willing customers, and others making personal attacks on Brent Ottosen and his dogs. My best guess is jealosy. But this deal with Larry someone who to the best of my knowledge has never seen Brents dogs hunt makes me wonder if it has more to do with some kind of mental dissorder. From looking at your past posts I think it could be the latter. Cobalt with you im guessing its the jealosy rubbing off on you from the people around you. Either way heres the chance you guys seem to be looking for. This offer is for Larry and Cobalt only end of story. Let me start by saying I will need an answer soon as it sounds like we may start hunting in about 3wks so I would need to get the info needed for the state. I will put Brent and Larry down as hunters and Cobalt down as a handler. As Larry said Cobalt you should be all over this and I would never ask Larry to come alone. The deal is $10,000 and no less. Larry the money should be no issue. You know all these guys that have seen Bones and gone home laughing. They will want to jump all over such a sure bet, so just pool your money. If you somehow lost all their phone#s you still have the option of a loan. You will need a non res. big game lic. to participate. I will pay for this out of my own pocket. I will also put $500 in the trust account for your gas.(only yours if you win) As far as the dogs we will stick to the subject so bring your stud dogs and offspring. 5 or 6 dog max. This will not be a one dog pissing match. This block of land goes from 700' to over 4000' in one mile. Sections of this land have horrible thinnings in them about 3' high that one dog can easily get caught in with no help. (I lost a pup out of Ike that way last year) I will be loseing 2wks of my own hunting so at the end of the first permits(2wks)its over. I have a great spot for you and your dogs to camp. Its behind locked gates with 24hr security patrol. You will need to come about 3 days early so I can show you around and let your dogs adjust. I give you my word that I will treat each of you with respect the entire time you are here. On your days to hunt if things go wrong we will help.(not with dogs)I excpect the same for Brent. Well fellas thats the deal. Larry I bet alot of people are waiting to see what kind of guy you really are when theres no more keypads to hide behind this is your chance to show em. Any smart ass replies from either party and that will be taken as a no. This is a very simple and very fair offer. I want a very simple yes or no answer.

I must respectfully decline your invitation as I have neither the time or money to lose, nor the motivation to pit my dogs in an event I never claimed any kind of dominance in. I think it would not solve any questions and would create problems. If a guy thinks he's got the best dog, good for him or her. In my opinion there is no such thing and a contest between a couple blowhards for $10,000 at a game that's impossible to judge honestly and positively is asinine. Do I think my dogs can compete? Hell yes! With hundreds of bears under their belts and just a handful of kills(literally), from truck to tree or bay, they've(Max and son Rock) proven from the scars on their asses to the long hours at the tree that they are quality dogs and are testiment to the consistency of their ancestory.
I forfeit to Brent and larry as having "the best stud dogs" and I appreciate that you give a shit as to what I think and apologize that the feeling is not mutual.
Good Luck.
