Its all worth it

Post by Timberhound »

Man i went out coon hunting tonight after work and for the very first time I treed a couple coons by myself. I have had dogs for about a year and a half and tonight made the whole thing worthwhile. It was a blast! I dropped the dogs and roaded them through a pretty good creek bottom road and not more than 5 min in they hit a brick wall, cut to the left and dropped about 50 feet off the road and started treeing on this big alder, about 80 ft up I saw the eyes, I let them tree for a while, loaded up and went on down the road not more than a mile and they did the same thing. I am so tickled I dont even know how to explain it. also saw two bucks, one nice three point with eyeguard so that was cool. My first successful night by myself! SWEET!!!!

I know what you mean, there are just somethings that you don't expect in life and Having Kids is one of them for me.. I knew it would be cool.. Just didn't know that it would make me feel the way I do. definately softened me up quite a bit...

After Deer/Elk slows down we'll have to get after some cats over there..
