New to the Site.

Hey I'm NEW to it all Hound Dogs & the Site. I have a lot of work ahead of me, I just have pups. What do you think I should do 1st? Any & All the help I get would be cool.

Hello,I'm new to the site as well,I have 2 redbone pups which we are just in the process of toilet training.They are going to be pets first,and hunting dogs second (thats what the wife says)they will be trained just like a normal dog and once that is accomplished then its out to the bush for lions.There is some good reads on this site as far as bush training goes,and there are some good books that you can get,the one I like the most is walk with wick 1 & 2.I also have some good buddies that have dogs that I can train with in the off season also members of this site.Maybe there are some members on this site that live close to you,that you can get to know and maybe tag along with on some hunts and they will teach you lots.Where are you located?I'm in calgary,alberta canada.Good luck with your hounds.Keep us posted.Cheers Kurt Raubach
